Dowry Creek - at a dock

The new restaurant is on the left - but not ready for customers yet

The weather continues be extraordinary with calm winds and temps in the 60s but cool at night. The trip to Dowry Creek from Alligator River was uneventful, no surprises. We had wanted to refill our propane tanks but they were out of propane. It’s on order but not yet delivered.

A good crowd but not full

I bought our usual crab meat from the area, they sell it in the store at the marina office. It’s fresh and a delight for crab cakes. We always get some every time we drop by. The crab meat is local and frozen for use at any time.

Looks like 64 ft
Wilkerson Bridge was at 64 ft today for those interested. The new restaurant is not open yet, maybe another month before the grand opening. The docks were only about 1/2 full, I expected more. We did a wash but only one dryer was operational but with promises to fix soon.

T-Mobile had no service on the Alligator-Pungo canal until you reached the southern end when internet service kicked in again. We’re off to RE Mayo on Tuesday and then on to Homer Smith on Wednesday.
