Homer Smith Marina in Beaufort, NC - at a dock

I think the two palm trees may be a little too brave for the cold weather, we’ll see

The marina is beautiful. He always had the best docks in the area and now he has the best clubhouse. The whole area has been landscaped and new asphalt applied. The new clubhouse is now open with a wet bar with a microwave and two very plush couches, each with reclining seats for comfort. A LED TV is provided for your enjoyment.

The clubhouse is done - great front porch

For those on the go, there are three washers and three dryers - and they are free! No coins needed. There are also three tiled showers with toilets with doors that lock. One is provided for wheelchair users. If you want to sit and just watch the world go by, there is a large porch with rocking chairs.

Maybe not too exciting for some - but wow

A tent is due to be set up early Thursday morning for the Oct 13 event with a 3:00 pm workshop on the use of Bob423 tracks, a 5:00 pm buffet for a small fee, and the main event at 7:00 on the status of ICW shoaling and how to avoid going aground by Bob423. Matt of Homer Smith has rented enough chairs for 75 people and a 70 inch LED TV for the presentations complete with a sound system. These guys go first class!

The reclining sofa chairs are butter soft

If you in the area, drop by for a day of information on the ICW. We will be here until Saturday morning when we leave for Harbor Village and points south.
