Fleetwing launches at 7:30 Thursday morning - finally! The winds have departed, the rain has drained out - we’re ready to go south. First, we have to launch and move over to Regatta Point YC for a day of prep on Fleetwing. Friday is our departure day to head for Norfolk. Light winds of less than 10 kts are predicted.

We would normally stay at the Norfolk Yacht Club but they are hosting the New York YC that week so we decided to move farther south to Tidewater Yacht Marina in Norfolk. From there it’s a little over 40 NM to Coinjock and a prime rib dinner!
Our plans include Alligator River Marina, Dowry Creek Marina, RE Mayo Docks, and Homer Smith on Wednesday. We used up all our layover days waiting for Ian to dissipate so from here on out, it’s moving everyday.
