Key West - kids didn’t make it, flight cancelled due to fog

 

Where do they come up with all these colors?

We were due to have two grandkids arrive today but we got a call early that their flight out of Hartford was cancelled! It seems that there was dense ground fog and they cancelled all flights. Sarah and Matt were greatly disappointed, to say the least. They got busy and found a flight out of Chicago on Monday but to catch it they have to get up at 3:00 am for a connecting flight from Hartford to Chicago! With that connection, they are due in Key West around 1:00 pm or so on Monday.

Not having kids today, we took a  walk around the harbor and went by the Peru place again. I must say that they have the most colorful products I’ve ever seen. We didn’t buy anything but it was fun to look at. 

We have reset our DDay clock, it’s now DDay-2. I think the few days they are here will be very busy days, they will want to do everything! We rescheduled our Cuban sandwiches now for Monday night when everyone arrives. We’re looking forward to have youth on board!
