Key West - Finn's view of learning and BO's Fishwagon for lunch

A kid's view of learning
Finn was asked his view of school and learning in general so he drew a picture. It's hanging up on his wall at home and I think it clearly shows a boy's view of schooling. I love the representation of cramming knowledge into his head and his expression.

We had visitors today from up north although it was only from southern Florida. They took the Key West Express ferry from Ft Myers and arrived in Key West around 11:30 or so. The ferry is a catamaran and travels about 30 kts. For a sailor, that's very high speed!

They were doing a land-office business at BO's Fishwagon
We had lunch with our northern visitors at BO's Fishwagon with their signature fish sandwiches and conch fritters. You have to eat there at least once if you're ever in Key West. For the rest of the day I worked some more on the evaluation of 13 nav apps. It's due to be published on Waterway Guide either Wednesday or Friday of next week. It might even stir up some controversy, we'll see. After it's been published on Waterway Guide, I'll post it on this blog site.
