Matthew's two sisters hadn't seen him for a week so they just had to see him today. They arrived shortly after noon and the boat came alive. There was a beach nearby by the breakwater so we called the launch and all piled in the car and headed for the ocean. There's nothing like large rocks (the breakwater) to intrigue kids, inducing them to climb, run and explore all over them. We didn't miss a breakwater! Next was the beach with typical New England sand, fine but of a dark color. Of course, it was cold too, in the 60's but that didn't deter the kids, especially Matthew. They all went in the water.
