Our next stop will be at Newport Yacht Club for the night so we can get through Hell Gate with a favorable current. It reverses against us by 9:00 am so we will get an early start the next morning. Meanwhile, we plan on exploring the area that night and may even eat out if we find a good restaurant.

Haverstraw
We will be starting out June 27, 2007 heading for Haverstraw for our overnight anchorage staying at a cove that we discovered on our last cruise. It's a tricky entrance but very protected once we're inside.
