Titusville - we visit the beach and a nature trail

The beach is huge, no lifeguards, plenty of room to spread out
With temperatures in the mid 80's, we just had to pay a visit to the beach on the ocean side. We chose the Canaveral National Seashore and specifically, the Playalinda Beach. There are 13 parking areas along the national seashore but the last one is a nudist beach (we didn't go there...) With it being so warm, it was a nice walk along the sandy beach. There were tons of people out but there was so much room that it wasn't crowded.

Ann walked along and dipped her toe in the Atlantic. The shells were smashed up and so were not collectible. For some reason, they outlaw metal detectors, don't really know why. We're getting snow and freezing rain at home, too bad. We can watch it on our live videocams over the internet, much more civilized that way.

The greenery was overwhelming, every shape possible was present
On the way home, we stopped by the Oak Hammock Trail that took us over a hammock which is a raised portion of land that's high enough to support oaks. The trails are well kept and there are lots to see. If you're lucky, there are owls in the area but we didn't see any today. We just enjoyed the profusion of green scenery, every shade imaginable. Then it was back to the boat for a restful remaining part of the day.
