Titusville - High winds, cold temps

Local color by the Titusville office
The high today was only 60. That's a lot colder than where we usually spend the winter, down in Key West. The winds blew in the 15 to 20 kt range and we got a little rocking from the wind direction out of the northeast. The Titusville Marina is protected from all directions except out of the northeast, the wave action has a direct path to the docks from that direction. Still, it wasn't bad, we just rocked a little. The fixed docks are very secure, you just need to be tied off well.

These guys are survivors. Hurricanes come and go but the palm trees persevere.
My seminar on "Going North" scheduled on 3/23 at 7:00 pm at Titusville is proceeding well. I have about a dozen people signed up so far. There have been requests to have it broadcast over the internet but I'm still working on that. I was thinking about buying about buying pizzas at 6:00 for a get together before the seminar presentation at 7:00 and having some box wine for refreshments.

I will be doing a formal webinar with Ed Tillett of Waterway Guide and Navionics on 4/11 at 7:00 pm. There will be details on that event later on. Meanwhile, I'm getting the material ready for the "Going North" seminar, it's a busy time but, except for today, it's been warm, a lot warmer than staying in New York!
