Walkabout

Notice the door but no roof
A couple of days ago when the winds were topping 30kts, it was rather chilly at Schooner Wharf. The wind was out of the north and rushed through the middle of the viewing area. We found a table behind the kitchen wall and was out of the wind. This morning I saw that Schooner installed a new door where there used to just be an open entry. However, there is no roof - so the wind flows over the door but it does seem to help some.

The Bull - The Garden of Eden is on the top floor
Down Duval you come to the famous The Bull bar which is fairly typical except for the third floor which is clothing optional (I've never been there). It's open to the sky but bordered by thick bushes. Further up the street there's Hog's Breath Saloon with the motto, "Hog's breath is better than no breath at all". Nearby is Sloppy Joe's and a host of other bars, all what bands that play all hours of the night. Most of all we keep returning to Schooner Wharf since it's so close and always has someone playing - all hours of the day.

It's warming up again here with temps in the high 70's later in the week (72 today). Monday is the start of a new week and there's boat chores to do, even in Key West.
