Today was a bore. We (Editor's note:  We? It was Finn up at 7:30. We were up at 5:30am) woke up at 7:30 to find ourselves still it Titusville waiting for the weather to clear out. But it never did. So we stayed at the marina for the day. We are headed out on Thursday Morning. School was fast like a hawk with a jetpack. I got done at 12:00 pm. Then I had lunch. It was exciting (sarcasm) the rest of the day was spent sleeping or gaming. We went to the dog park around 2:30 but there was no one there. That’s all I got for you today.
Our homeless ospreys are still trying to build a new nest without much success

The route from Ft Lauderdale to Key West looks like a lot of wind over the next week, around 20 kts everyday. We would like a little less wind which involves staying over somewhere along the way. The least costly layover location is Titusville. On top of that, we just like to travel in sunny weather which is not due until Thursday. For those on a schedule (a dirty word for cruisers) our way of traveling takes too long. After eight years on the ICW, we're comfortable with our approach but it's not for everyone.
He caught a fish but It took him several minutes to get it down.

We'll leave for sure on Thursday and probably stay over for two days at Vero and arrive at Ft Lauderdale on Monday to take a mooring by the bridge. Then we will watch for weather once again for the legs to Marathon. We would like to spend a few days there if it's not too crowded. I haven't heard any word on that point yet. For Wednesday, I'm sure it will  be another "boring day" for Finn. Perhaps I can find something to interest him such as swabbing the decks or cleaning heads...
