Key West - Art Demostration

The Southmost Church of God, interesting play of shadows
We're hoping that the spring breakers will mostly depart over the weekend. Despite all the activity, it's been quiet at night on the docks, so far. The city marina does enforce a quiet time since many of their long time slips are rented to many that work in Key West during the daytime.

I remain a sucker for flowers
Ann wanted to see the demonstration by Andy Thurber at the Key West Art Center on Front Street today at 4:00 PM. We got there in time but he place was packed. We later learned that the demonstration was after the monthly meeting of the art center at 3:30 pm so all the chairs were taken. The demo lasted about 1/2 hour and then we were ready to leave since we were standing all that time. Andy is not one of her favorite artists but it was still interesting watching him work.

After I do the blog, we're headed over to BO's Fishwagon to listen to Barry Cuda for awhile. He's a musician we always enjoy whenever we can. He usually brings along friends to play with him at BO's.
